Reviews and Ratings

Feedback about Conference Aston Hotel - Birmingham City from previous guests about their experience.
Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently praise the clean and spacious rooms, many finding the bathrooms large and well-equipped. Nice extras, like coffee/tea facilities and even a chocolate bar, add to the experience. Some guests have mentioned that smaller rooms with single beds may have mattresses that aren't the most comfortable. the availability of amenities such as an iron, ironing board, fan, and a flat-screen TV with many channels, plus access to a full-size swimming pool and gym near Aston University, are frequently cited as positives, as is the on-site restaurant and cosy bar. Plus, it's only a 15-18 minute walk to Birmingham New Street.

Excellent Stay on Campus

ironing boardfloor lamphot chocolaterude housekeeping
I found the room equipped with an iron, ironing board, and fan. A floor lamp, phone, and hairdryer were also present in the room. Toiletries, a kettle, tea, coffee, milk, and hot chocolate were supplied. The television offered many channels and the hotel had wifi throughout.
Housekeeping twice attempted to remove me prematurely. On the first occasion, she said I had to leave a day early. The second time, she knocked to remind me of the 11 AM checkout at 9:30 AM. I found this disruptive.
Location
9/10
The hotel is within the campus, offering a calm environment. It is quiet, yet located close to the city center. This provides convenient access to attractions and services. For guests.
Dining
8/10
Breakfast offers pastries, continental options, and cooked items. There is a restaurant on site along with a beautiful courtyard garden. A cosy bar remains open until late each night.
