the setting WAS beautiful. The buildings and grounds I found good and spotlessly clean. ALL staff seemed genuinely pleased to help, and always had a smile. the spa is a big bonus with a pool, sauna, steam room, and gym, ALL readily accessible.
the ROOM had a musky smell. bedding looked old. the room was cluttered with mismatched furniture. i had to keep the windows open all night, which wasn't ideal.
Rooms
8/10
my room included two separate sinks. the room also featured fresh milk in the fridge. tea and coffee facilities were available, yet there were no capsules, ONLY long-life milk, which wasn't ideal.
Service
9/10
the staff greeted guests with genuine PLEASURE. the staff maintained high standards while creating a warm, cute atmosphere. staff members went out of their way to be helpful during my entire stay.
Dining

the breakfast buffet seemed somewhat limited IN CHOICE. a friend, unable to have tea or coffee, received a soft drink without question. the dining room had a view of one of the best parks.
Facilities

generally ok stay

maintained gardenfirst class foodslow breakfastaverage accommodation
the gardens were well maintained and beautiful to explore. the walled kitchen garden was especially nice , with many blossoms. the food was first class and had plenty of choice with two different menus.
the breakfast service was slow and i had to ask four times for coffee. i sat for an hour before hot breakfast arrived , and it was just average in quality. the price seemed high for what i got.
