i found the staff at reception friendly and cute. they clearly explained the hotel's amenities and hours of operation. the food in the restaurant was amazing!!! everything was cleaned and tidy.

the duvet had a lot of stains on it, a bit disappointing.

the hotel's location is good for trips to see family. several car parking places are available around the area, so there is no trouble parking. york bird of prey is literally on the doorstep.

the hotel features a games room with a dart board. there is also a lovely bar and lounge area . the staff are very helpful, especially tom in the restaurant, who was courteous.
