Select rooms include a free-standing bathtub, a walk-in monsoon shower, copper bath, or a superking bed with a seating area. Some rooms include fireplaces. Room amenities include Clarins toiletries, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffee facilities. Edwards is split over two levels, accessed via a winding Georgian staircase. Cumberland features a bay window overlooking the garden and city walls.
Fine Dining
The Bow Room Restaurant features a six-course taster menu with optional wine flights. The hotel uses seasonal ingredients, including produce from the Grays Court Garden, which features heritage Yorkshire cultivars. Guests can indulge in a drinks menu featuring craft beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails made with seasonal ingredients from the garden. A five-course evening menu may include mackerel tartare and slow-cooked belly pork with quince and apple. A cooked-to-order breakfast is included with all accommodations. Lunch is served daily between 12 and 3 PM, and guests can expect a menu with dishes accompanied by a drinks list. Head Chef Adam Jackson creates culinary experiences using seasonal produce.

Grays Court features a Jacobean Long Gallery with oak paneling and original paintings. Sheltered gardens offer a location to relax. Guests have access to a landscaped garden at the rear of the house. The gardens feature decorative and edible plants, grown using organic methods. The hotel also features a combined guest lounge and breakfast room with parquet flooring, an open log fire, and French doors leading to a terrace and the garden.

Located between the Minster and the walls, Grays Court Hotel is 10 minutes from York Station. Landmarks near the hotel include York Museum Gardens (0.5 km), Kings Square (0.3 km), and York Castle Museum (0.5 km). The hotel is near The Shambles and York's vibrant market. The building dates back to the 11th century. Archaeologists believe the remains of a Roman gate lay buried inside the grounds. The hotel is thought to be the oldest continuously occupied building in Britain.
