The AA Rosette-awarded restaurant at The Red Lion features oak floors and river views. The menu offers local produce, from slow-roasted rumps of beef to pan-fried chicken breast, and Yorkshire Puddings. Dishes include seasonal soup with homemade bread, salmon gravadlax with beetroot jelly, and roast topside of beef with Yorkshire pudding. Dessert options feature dark chocolate peanut brownies, caramelized lemon tart, and sticky toffee pudding. The traditional bar serves Thwaites real ales. Christmas Day dining includes a menu with English sparkling wine, white onion and cider soup, traditional roast turkey, and Christmas pudding.

The hotel is a short drive from Skipton, Harrogate via the A59, and 40 km from Leeds Bradford Airport.
