The Boar's Head offers 23 bedrooms with individual designs. Accommodations are available in the Main House, Birchwood House, and Courtyard. Main House rooms offer views of the village or courtyard and are on the first floor. Birchwood House, located across the road, has double and twin rooms on the ground or first floor, with a private entrance and parking. Courtyard bedrooms feature double and twin rooms on the ground and first floor. Poacher's Den & Gardener's Cottage are two suites in the Courtyard on the ground floor, featuring a double room with en-suite and lounge area. Rooms include free toiletries, a private bathroom with a bath or shower, a hairdryer, tea and coffee maker, carpeted floor, heating, and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms offer garden views. A mobility-accessible room is available with a wet-room, grab rails, shower seat, and wider door frames.

The Boar's Head features a traditional Bar, a Snug with a log fire, and a Dining Room. The contemporary dining room offers a seasonal menu with local produce. The menu includes dishes from Steak & Black Sheep Ale pie to Stone Bass served with langoustine oil, with vegetarian options. A vegan menu is available upon request. The Boar's Head offers the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal. A Tea Room and Takeaway are available. Ripley Castle Tearoom and GrindHus Coffee Shop are also nearby. The Yorkshire Dales offer mountain biking, climbing, and walking. As a resident of The Boar's Head, you receive complimentary access into the Castle Gardens & Grounds for the duration of your visit. Within the Ripley Castle gardens are the large Victorian walled garden with floral and shrub borders. Visitors can walk around the Lake through the ancient deer park and enjoy Castle views. Dogs are welcome on short leads in the bar for a fee of £20.00 per dog, per night, upon prior request. Free toiletries are provided. Unless alternative arrangements have been agreed, rooms will be held until 23:59 on the date of arrival. Guests found smoking on the premises will be asked to extinguish their cigarette immediately, or they will be asked to leave the premises.
