Mixed Feelings About the Stay

easy accessshabby bathroom
The location was acceptable with easy access to the bus stop.
I found the room quite run down. The bathroom looked shabby, and the bath had chips. I felt it needed refurbishment, because it was good, even though it wasn't.

good stay in a lovely place

warm welcomedog-friendly roomsunday roastweak shower
the receptionist provided a nice welcome when i arrived. the location is lovely and in the heart of the village. i had a large dog-friendly room with provided dog bowls and bed. i also enjoyed a nice sunday roast at the restaurant.
the bathroom felt aged, some mould was apparent on silicone, and a tap top was missing. the shower produced a weak stream. wifi signal was unusable in the room, and the phone signal was also very weak.
Dining

the evening menu featured a very good choice, and all seven people in my party enjoyed their different courses. breakfast was great because the staff actually cooked it to order and it was not a hot plate.
