the parking area was convenient and provided ample space. check-in was quick , and the staff were efficient. the location offered easy access to nearby amenities. the room was larger than expected , providing plenty of space to relax.
the radiator knob was broken , making temperature control difficult.

The hotel was easy to locate. Ample on-site parking existed. The room size exceeded my expectations. I also found the beds to be comfortable. I appreciated that it was a short walk to a local theatre.
I found the TV to be problematic. I could not access streaming services. The radiator's temperature gauge was damaged, which caused overheating. Doors need tightening to reduce slamming. Walls seemed thin, I could hear guests in adjacent rooms talking.

the staff were really helpful and polite they were approachable. i couldn't praise them any higher including the night porter and the cleaners. they are a credit to greene king. my room was clean and tidy and fresh towels were provided.
the room was very noisy there was constant banking. noisy guests came and went late at night and very early mornings. i found no power in the shower so water trickled out.

faulty heaterpoor communication
The bathroom heater did not function. This appears to be a known issue. I had to use another location to shower. the food service cut off time was not clearly communicated. The bar staff did not honour a 9 pm online reservation. It was a bit of a problem.
