small room threadbare stair carpets

the room was small. there was only one bedside light, it was insufficient for reading in bed. the stair carpets were threadbare. i also saw cleaner's materials left out, like buckets, when i went to breakfast.

the staff provided excellent service and addressed every need promptly. the room was equipped with basics and included yorkshire tea bags. i found the location convenient for accessing restaurants and shops. i appreciated the dinnerwith very good value.

the net curtains looked like they needed a wash.

central position pub facilities food quality noise issues broken doors large gap

the location was ideal because of its central position. the pub and bar facilities were also good. i found the food to be of excellent quality. it was a nice surprise.

the earplugs in the room suggested the hotel was aware of noise issues. the shower doors were broken, so they did not close. i found it impossible to shower without soaking the floor. the guest room door had a large gap under it allowing light from the corridor to enter

the staff was very helpful. i found the room to be quiet. i also liked that the food was AMAZING!!! breakfast was plentiful.

the water in the bath was only lukewarm. the shower head was clogged up. i spent time running the water to make it warmer, but it did not work.

i found breakfast cooked exactly to my order, that was great. lunch and dinner were plentiful with good value. the team at reception was helpful, even late at night. staff members were cute and professional too.

my room felt a bit dated and could use some updates, i saw marks on the walls.

many stairs live music

the food , the location and the room i stayed in were acceptable.

i found a lot of stairs and the room was quite a distance given my mobility requirements. i requested a low floor but i did not specify the reason. the room was directly above where live bands performed until midnight.
