Dining: Nearby collection of restaurants and bars

“Location is the undeniable draw here, a short walk to King's Cross; simple rooms provide a place to sleep, though some find them inconsistent with online images, and shared bathrooms can be crowded. If you're prioritizing budget and proximity to the station over luxurious amenities, it might suffice for a quick stay.”

subway lines helpful staff
The location was near many subway lines. Staff reacted quickly to my queries and this was helpful. I also appreciated they directed me to the hotel, as the street numbers were confusing. Staff also took my suitcase to my room.
The stairs carpet was dirty in places. There were also loud building works going on early in the morning and late at night. I wish I knew about it beforehand.

adequate for a short stay but with issues.

The location was convenient for accessing public transport. That met expectations.
The room was quite small. Maneuvering luggage was difficult due to the absence of a lift. the towels provided were also quite small and thin. They barely sufficed.

Excellent Location and Cleanliness

immediate access safe luggage storage comfortable beds quiet room
The access to the building was immediate via a buzzer. A staff member was always present and luggage storage proved easy and safe. The location is near a square and very close to Kings Cross. I found the accommodation matched its description. The beds were comfortable. I had a quiet room on the third floor, which involved stairs, but the quietness was a plus.
The building is old. I could hear the footsteps of others in the corridor.

Satisfactory stay NEAR transit

great location helpful staff broken kettle missing shelf
The location IS awesome. It is very close to Kings Cross station. The staff were helpful and stored our bags for free as we arrived way before check in time.
The kettle lid was broken. I only had one pillow and one towel. There wasn't any shelf in the bathroom to place my toiletries. I had to use the floor.
