While the building exudes historical charm, modern amenities, like Nespresso machines, are welcome conveniences. I appreciate the small touches, like local crafts offered to guests, but think some of the facilities, such as the breakfast area, could benefit from an update.”

Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently praise the hotel's prime location on Place des Jacobins, near the central fountain and within easy reach of shops like Zara and Uniqlo, as well as Gare de Lyon. Privilege rooms are often mentioned as being spacious, comfortable, and featuring free mini-fridge items; some offer balconies with lovely square views. The breakfast, starting at 7:00 AM, is well-regarded, especially the fresh orange juice and varied croissants, though a few guests have found the breakfast area to be small.

the staff in the lobby was cheerful. they were quite helpful too. our room had a lovely view of the square and fountain. the hotel is a short walk from places with sights and dining options.
the floors were super creaky, it was true. the walls were thin. i could hear other people moving around a lot. the shower did not work properly. it was a rain shower, but the water barely flowed.
