My room, a Melia Twin Room, had great amenities. I liked that staff replenished Rituals products regularly (this was a good detail!). I appreciated the cleanliness and central location (it made exploring so easy).

The heater did not work immediately , so I was cold the first night.

I appreciated the convenient access from the underground parking directly into the hotel lobby. A taxi station right in front of the hotel proved very handy! The staff was so friendly!

The room was too warm! The lowest temperature setting was 23 degrees. This made it uncomfortable, especially in the afternoons and while I tried to sleep! The room lacked essential facilities, like a coffee machine and complimentary water beyond the initial two cans at check-in.

I was impressed with the efficient reception service. My room, situated on a high floor, presented a striking vista of the iconic Plaza de España. The breakfast offered many options, especially the Spanish products. I appreciated the attentive and cute attitude displayed by all staff members.

I encountered a slight delay when the elevators were busy. At peak times, there was a short wait.

The hotel's location was ideal for the marathon start and finish, a key factor for my stay.

My room felt quite worn. The front door handle detached on my first day. I reported this to reception three times. It took five hours to get it fixed. the shower only produced a trickle of water, disappointing.

The breakfast had many options. Everything tasted good. The bed seemed comfortable for sleeping. The room looked clean. Transport options exist near main attractions.

I checked in online, but the staff did not acknowledge it. The room felt tired. I saw a chunk out of the door.
