Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Lion & Pheasant Hotel enjoys a convenient central location, making it easy to explore Shrewsbury, with its shops, wine bars, and restaurants just a short distance away, not to mention a lovely riverside walk with great views only 5 minutes from the premises. Guests particularly appreciate the spacious and comfortable rooms, some of which are apartments like 'The Stables', featuring a great kitchen, dining, and seating area. While most find the rooms well-appointed, a few guests have noted that some rooms can appear a bit dated.

UNDERWHELMING stay

ripped curtains thin walls
the room felt very dated. the curtains had several RIPS and hung crookedly. i could hear every sound from the neighboring room due to thin walls. the card key failed repeatedly, and i had to get it reset multiple times.
