“Location is a strong suit here, with walkable access to Killin's dining and shopping plus striking river and mountain views from select rooms. I noted the historic building, built on the site of a 17th-century inn, as well as the focus on locally sourced ingredients in the on-site restaurant. The hotel has a beautiful location by the river. reception offered complimentary water and sweets, a charming touch. the breakfast was cooked to order and tasted very good. I found it better than a buffet.
The receptionist was somewhat abrupt on arrival. Housekeeping in the room seemed subpar.

Truly Impressed With the Really good Service

convenient locationnice touchesearly breakfastdifficult temperature
I appreciated the hotel location. It was convenient near the cycle route. I enjoyed the boiled sweets in the reception area. These were one of a few nice touches that make this place pleasant. The breakfast I had was served early and facilitated an 8:30 departure. I had a long day's cycling ahead.
The shower had difficult temperature control. Water pressure was difficult to adjust. This.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel has a secured place to store bikes. This feature is especially convenient for travellers. A restaurant and bar are on-site, offering meals and drinks throughout the day. This made dining very convenient.
