The setting is gorgeous with views of the mountains. The scenery enhanced our experience greatly. the food at the restaurant proved delicious, especially at dinner. the staff demonstrated really good courtesy and efficiency.
The communal entrance experienced a bottleneck at reception. This created a minor inconvenience.

strong bleachthreadbare carpets
i found the room smelled strongly of bleach upon arrival this made it difficult to breathe the need to open the windows fully to remove the smell was problematic given the rain outside the carpets was threadbare and not many places allowed for relaxation

The staff promptly changed our room upon request, showing great care. They aided my companion with lost luggage, resolving a stressful situation. I observed a beautiful pool and grounds, improved with the lake view. I noticed the mountains created a serene setting.
