“This long-standing, family-run inn emphasizes relaxation with its spa services and open-air baths, some exclusive to certain rooms. The in-house cuisine focuses on seasonal, local ingredients, offering a distinctly Japanese experience. While not directly facing Mount Fuji, its location still provides views of the lake and surrounding landscape; its proximity to attractions like Fujikyu Highlands amusement park enhances its appeal as a base for exploration. In my opinion, this choice excels as a wellness and cultural retreat.”
