Lakeland Hotel Mizunosato offers guests spacious rooms, many boasting amazing views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, with some even featuring private onsen. Its prime location is right next to Yagizaki Park, and within reasonable distance to attractions like the Mt. Fuji Ropeway and Kawaguchiko Music Forest. Guests frequently enjoy the traditional Japanese-style breakfast and dinner included in the half-board option; still, a few guests have found the hotel's decor a bit old-fashioned.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our dietary requirements.
The facilities appear quite dated. I observed water stains on a lamp with a paper wall in my room (this was quite noticeable). The bathroom sink was clogged and the shower door was stained. It clearly needs maintenance. I would have expected better upkeep for the price paid.
