peaceful ryokan retreat

the room offered a private onsen with consistently controlled water temperature. complimentary kimonos were available in both male and female sizes for experiencing traditional couture. the premises included zen gardens that featured meticulously designed pebble patterns and lush greenery. i appreciated the hotel pickup service from the station.

The hotel lacked english speaking staff. Google translate was necessary for communication.

Very nice ryokan experience

i appreciate the private onsen located on the terrace. this provided great relaxation after a long day. the japanese-style breakfast was very diverse and plentiful. i also enjoyed the free access to the loungewith coffee, tea, and wine.

my only very slight negative comment is that the language skills of some staff members were limited, made communication occasionally difficult.

The traditional Japanese breakfast met my expectations. It was included in the rate.

I found the staff inflexible regarding the shuttle. They would not accommodate a slightly later drop-off. The room showed wear. It felt a bit dilapidated for the price. I was asked to return adapters I didn't even use.

I enjoyed the hotel dinner one night. The dinner included eight courses of unique dishes with seafood. I also appreciated the tea, coffee, and juice in the lounge. Sinking into the private onsen after cycling was bliss.

The hotel has very low door frames and I missed one. I bumped my head very hard.

The room included a private onsen. This was relaxing after sightseeing. The staff was helpful. Dinner featured several courses of seafood, meats, and local vegetables. It was the best meal I had. The accommodation felt luxurious and spacious.

The shuttle schedule was inflexible. It did not align well with my bus departure time.

the suite had a private outdoor hot onsen. the room was spacious, with a walk-in wardrobe room, two toilets, a bathroom with both a shower wet room and a separate bath. there was also a bedroom, a living dining area, and another living area. a loft with a chair provided a perfect view. the staff proved to be very helpful and friendly.
