unavailable tour broken alarm clock

the staff was helpful when i asked for directions to the gardens.

the promised audio house tour was unavailable, and nobody informed us beforehand. the breakfast buffet was chaotic with long queues and items often running out. also, the art deco alarm clock in the room was broken, a real letdown.

Very nice Stay, Was like Royalty!

grand entrance warm welcome classical music really good food

The long driveway created a grand entrance. The staff welcomed us warmly and shared the Hall's history. I enjoyed the classical music playing in every room. It was a nice touch. The food was really good.

The room lacked a fridge. I was surprised considering it was a suite.

The bedroom featured comfortable beds, and the towels felt cosy! Our room was also clean. There was an audio tour available both inside and outside the hall. It was an very nice feature. The history was amazing.

disappointing room allocation

small room high noise

The room i got was surprisingly small, especially considering the price. the view wasn't great either. It overlooked service areas. also, there was a wedding happening, so the noise levels were quite high well into the night. it made relaxing nearly impossible and i expected better soundproofing.

birthday detail excellent food cute staff

The staff paid attention to detail, particularly as it was a birthday for my partner. the food tasted great and offered excellent value. i especially liked the sandwich platter served in the evening. It hit the spot. i found the staff cute and helpful, ready to assist.

i noticed the absence of a fridge in my suite. it was surprising.

Our room had a large en-suite bathroom. It featured both a soaking tub and a separate shower. the bedroom included blackout curtains that helped to ensure restful sleep. the bed linen was premium quality.
