“This place strikes me as particularly family-friendly, a vibe reinforced by the genuinely warm staff. Though some rooms show their age, the friendly service and surprisingly good restaurant hint at unrealized potential. Overall, I see it as a diamond in the rough needing some polishing.”

Simple and convenient

Parking was very easy. The hotel felt clean. Breakfast included very good portion. The lady named Clare at the counter was nice. She helped me with everything I asked.
The room felt very cold. It had lightweight duvets. I could not find extra sheets. I ended up buying throws to keep warm.

the receptionist was very lovely. she even upgraded my room since bigger rooms were available, a nice surprise. the bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. i appreciated that everything i needed for a brief stay was provided.
the room i stayed in had no heating when i arrived and took a while to warm up. the electric towel rail in the bathroom also didn't work, a bit inconvenient.
