Gudvangen Fjordtell is praised for its fantastic location on the fjord, offering spectacular views of towering mountains and waterfalls, easily accessible from the ferry to Flåm. Guests often appreciate the convenience of having a kitchenette, although some might only use the kettle for a short stay. Many rooms feature back doors leading to shared decks, creating a central outdoor space; plus, the hotel's proximity to the Viking Valley is a definite highlight, within easy walking distance, though some guests have noted the rooms are in separate buildings, which can mean a longer walk from reception.
