lovely fjord stay

Flamsbrygga offered a compact but clean room. terry bathrobes were a nice, unexpected touch. our two private balconies showcased the grounds and fjord. despite a cruise ship nearby, our room's angle maintained the magnificent fjord view. I was very pleased.

The toilet flusher was right behind the toilet seat. I accidentally flushed it a few times!

Dinner at flamstova featured hearty dishes and generous portions. i had delicious pork knuckle with root vegetables and creamy mashed potatoes. the salad was fresh and satisfying. I couldn't eat dessert.

The hotel is steps from the flam railway. food trucks and casual restaurants are nearby. This is very convenient! it's touristy but not obnoxious and quiet overnight. the overall location is amazing.

I arrived around noon, and the front desk tried for an early check-in. I didn't expect this! i stored bags and confirmed dinner. My room was ready then. the whole process was surprisingly quick. I was very pleased.
