the breakfast was quite good i suppose. i needed a wine bottle opener and one was loaned to me, acceptable.

The hotel felt quite old fashioned! the carpeting seemed not very clean and the furniture felt dated. the windows let in cold air, and the heating wasn't great. There was no heat in the bathroom. the shower water was only warm. I expected better.

the hotel's location near the railway station and taxis was very convenient. the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices i wanted. i appreciated the book in the room that detailed the hotel's history and its famous guests. the room included a balcony and a bath i enjoyed.

the first room i received on the 2nd floor offered a limited view over a wall. it was quite small and old. i requested a different room and got one on the 6th floor.
