perfect locationcomfortable sizehuge breakfastlong linehot waterstaff apology
the location was perfect. the flybussen from the airport stopped right outside the hotel, so transportation was easy. the room was a comfortable size with plenty of space for luggage. breakfast had a huge spread with cooked breakfast and gluten-free options.
the check-in line was quite long and slow. we experienced no hot water for two days (this was quite inconvenient). staff offered hardly any apology for the water issue.

excellent stay at the waterfront

varied buffetfresh foodfree upgrade
i found the breakfast buffet offered a great choice of fresh food. i liked the traditional fish dishes, both delicious and interesting. the hotel also gave me a room upgrade, which i really appreciated.
finding a parking spot for my suv with a ski box was a challenge, as the nearby parking was often full.
Location

the hotel is located right on the harbor. it is in the heart of the old town. it is very close to the main tourist attractions. the pier with ships to the fjords is next to the hotel.
Facilities

the hotel has a well-equipped gym with a sauna. there is an old church behind the hotel. there is also a market across the street that remains open until 11 pm, offering convenience for late-night needs.

central locationslow check-inodd decor
the location was central, allowing easy walks around the area. i found the breakfast buffet to have a great choice of food.
the check-in process felt impersonal and quite slow. i was not asked about my stay during checkout. also, the room decor seemed a bit odd, with bright colours in contrast to the dark doors and hallways.
