Review summary

Based on recent reviews

The Ridgemount Hotel is often praised for its excellent location, convenient to the British Museum and with easy access to tube stations. Guests frequently enjoy the complimentary English breakfast, complete with options like eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. The spacious family rooms, some of which are refurbished, are a plus for many; however, some guests have noted the absence of a lift/elevator. Mixed Feelings, A Basic Stay

missing lift several stairs

The location proved quite convenient. It was close enough to get to places.

My room felt cramped. I had to haul my luggage up several flights of stairs since there wasn't a lift. It was not fun. The absence of even basic amenities like tea or coffee in the room was also quite disappointing, I expected a bit more.
