the balcony provided a fine view. the room had ample space for luggage. breakfast included a variety of fresh fruit.. i liked the selection of local cheeses. the shuttle service was prompt and helpful, especially after a long day of exploring.

the gym only had limited equipment.

I was struck by the generous size of our room, it offered a calming atmosphere! the breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. the dinner at the restaurant was really nice, with great food. i particularly enjoyed the free shuttle service to town. It made exploring very simple.

the lighting in the room was not ideal, it was quite dim!

The breakfast buffet was AMAZING!!! It had so many options. I enjoyed the free shuttle into town until 7 PM. It was really convenient. The bar was beautiful, and the service was great. We even played games there one rainy evening.

My room was quite stuffy. I found that opening the door or window allowed people to look right into our room from the entrance. We were woken at 7:00 AM by staff putting glass bottles into the rubbish bins. This was disruptive.

fjord view fish selection excellent cocktails

I found the location overlooking the fjord to be excellent. the breakfast had many choices, including a delicious fish selection. i enjoyed the newly built bar. The cocktails and scotch selection were great (i had a couple!).

the walk into town was on a road without a dedicated path.

The room featured large windows and a balcony facing the majestic fjord. I found this to be a great vantage point. the room included a nice sitting area and a comfortable bed, i had great sleep every night.

the hotel offers a free shuttle into town approximately every half hour until 7 pm. i booked the sauna easily during the off-season. there was also plenty of room at the outdoor hot tubs.
