Pet-Friendly: Welcomes dogs in designated areas

Family-Friendly: High chairs and children's menus

“The inn's historical ambiance, especially the crooked walls and low beams, struck me as particularly appealing; it's one of the oldest inns in England, after all, with a story to tell. I appreciate the landscaped garden and the fact that they can host wedding events, as well as cater to families looking for a break in a charming market town; however, be aware of the different opinions regarding the staff. It's a place with character and potential.”

Satisfactory Visit

clean roomfresh roomwooden beammiserable staffcordless phoneslow service
The room was clean and fresh. The room was situated across from the main part of the pub. It was well presented. The building had character with wooden beams and tasteful decor.
I stood in the reception for a while. A lady came along on a cordless phone and just looked at us. The staff seemed miserable. They were not really bothered if we were there or not.
