a decent stay, but some downsides
old furniturefaulty air conditioning
the room i get, was not great. it was smaller that i expect and the furniture seem old. the balcony was tiny and i did not had much of a view. also, the air conditioning were not working that good, so it was hot sometimes. these things.

the breakfast was amazing with a lot of choice. they had fresh cooked eggs at the live cooking stations and a lot of fresh fruit.
i thought the poolside towel situation was a problem. signs clearly stated nobody can reserve beds before 10. i came down at 7.30 and all beds were reserved with towels, and nobody was there. staff did not act positively to this issue while i were there.

The room cleaning was superior. I found the pool area provided many spots for relaxation. Staff were cute and addressed all questions efficiently, though it's better to ask them in English.
I found the lift system confusing, and sometimes long waits occurred during peak hours!

totally awesome hotel!

I stayed for four nights and it rocks! the staff is super attentive. Everyones smiles. the main pool is very nice with spot on water. there is an awesome bar area in reception and the shows were fab. the bedroom upgrades are fine. The furniture is now light and bright. there are charging points upgraded and plenty of lighting. the bathrooms look great with walk in showers and double sinks.
The only small problem, the prices increased since last year. it is really really small. Dont worry.

the buffet restaurant offers very varied food. there are choices. breakfast is so yummy with plenty to choose from, too. sometimes, the buffet are busy, but the service moves quick.

the location is so good for shops and free shuttle to the siam mall. you'll find the beach and market are easily accessible from the hotel. getting around to nearby attractions is simple and easy.

rooms are cleaned daily by a very great house keeping staff. the furniture is light and bright and bathrooms are beautifully done. the beds feature big, well-lit mirrors, and the room include two separate sinks.

balanced experience

the pools were lovely. i spent some time in the main pool area and on the adult only rooftop pool. the rooftop pool had amazing views of the mountains and sea. its very peaceful up there.
the service overall is below par. not all staff speak english very well so communicating is hard. staff are not as cute as at other places we stayed. some rules seemed silly.
