charming stay in a historic hotel

the room included a large bed and two chairs. the bathroom featured a spacious tub and a great shower with excellent water pressure. i found the room impeccably cleaned upon arrival. it really was a weekend of rest and a luxury experience.
the classic room we had was tiny and i could barely move. i saw electrical power points hanging by the wires. the wine list was incorrect versus what was described on the bottle.
Dining
9/10
i enjoyed the eggs benedict for breakfast. i was seated immediately and treated very well by the highest customer service standards. i also enjoyed the cheeseburger for a late lunch meal upon arrival.
Service
10/10
the front of house staff were kind and very helpful showing me to my room. there was classical music playing on the radio, which gave a lovely atmosphere. the experience was stellar, from beginning to end.

beautiful bathroom best bed high standard furnishings hotel parking dark bar clattering window
The room had a beautiful bathroom with a great shower. The bed was the best I have had in a hotel. The furnishings were of a high standard.
There was no hotel parking I had to use the cattle market car park. The bar area seemed dark and dingy to me. The window clattered every time a car went past outside.
