“Fisher's Hotel strikes me as a place steeped in Pitlochry's charm, offering a taste of both history and family-friendly adventure, though some aspects clearly need attention. The central location and themed entertainment, like the murder mystery nights, are definite draws. I think that Fisher's could be a good base for exploring the Highlands, if they can maintain standards.”

coffee maker breakfast buffet lift access toilet roll holder poor soundproofing small parking
The room had a coffee maker. I appreciated this convenient touch (especially in the morning!). The breakfast buffet included a wide selection of hot dishes. I also liked the lift that provided easy access to upper floors.
The bar toilet roll holder was broken. It actually hit me on the head. The soundproofing was poor. I could clearly hear the TV from the adjacent room. The parking area seemed small for the number of guests.

Excellent Stay with Great Value
refurbished room great value spacious room
I booked a Murder Mystery night and the theme was Fawlty Towers. The price included a drink upon check-in, a bedroom, breakfast, welcome fizz, and a three-course meal, all for two people. The value was great (especially the food!). I had a lovely refurbished room on the ground floor near the ballroom.
The bedroom was okay, but nothing really good about it. The room was dated and not super clean. One of the bedside lampshades was torn (surely this should have been immediately replaced).
Service
9/10
The staff was friendly, including the Murder Mystery actors. A glass of fizz welcomed all guests upon arrival to the Murder Mystery night. The hotel provides excellent service.
Rooms
8/10
The room was spacious and included comfy beds. The chairs allowed for garden view admiration. Room 67 provided easy access to the ballroom.
Location

The hotel is in a great location, close to the coach house bar (great for cocktails!). It is close to town. The hotel is centrally located.
