I found the staff cute and very helpful. They changed our room when my husband struggled with the stairs. the hotel's location was convenient. the room was spacious and very clean. the bed was comfortable.
the coffee at breakfast wasn't very nice, and there weren't enough fresh berries.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I enjoyed the beautiful surroundings with the gardens! The hotel is within easy walking distance of the town centre. On-site parking was available. I really liked being able to park right at the hotel.
The spa facilities are not adequate for a hotel of this supposed calibre. It is not always open and available to guests, also not nearly big enough for more than one person or couple. Bookings must be made to use any aspect of the spa!

The hotel provided a comfortable bed and pillows. This ensured restful nights. A large bottle of water, along with sloe gin, were nice complimentary touches. These enhanced my stay with an extra degree of care.

The hotel is private but close to the station and high street, with access. The cabins around the garden are gorgeous. There are many places to hang out around the hotel. This made relaxing outside simple.

The hotel is a few minutes' walk into town. Sherborne is great. Displays at the Abbey were wonderful, and the high street has a good range of independent shops. I found it convenient.

Breakfast was excellent. Colourful plants in the well kept cottage-style garden provided an enjoyable view. I particularly appreciated this calm and restful start to my days. The breakfast service was high quality.

Our room was described as a superior luxury double room. There was nothing superior or luxurious about it. The bed had ill-fitting sheets, so the sheet came undone at the top of the bed. The carpet was dirty, and overall cleanliness was not great.

the hotel location is convenient and near the town center. The room was well-decorated and had everything needed. the sloe gin was a nice touch. breakfast was also good with great variety.
the lightbulb in the bedside lamp was broken and was not fixed immediately. I reported it in the morning, but it was not addressed until i asked again in the late afternoon. this took additional time.
