mixed experience, some issues with the stay

sink drain hot water
I found several issues that detracted from my stay. the noise from upstairs was disruptive. it seemed like the manager's children were playing and i could not nap. the bathroom sink drain was also stuck closed. It was not possible to raise it. the lack of hot water in the morning was frustrating!

good stay

clean room adjustable heating well-kept beers
The room was clean (it had tea, coffee, and biscuits!). the adjustable heating was convenient for setting the perfect temperature. the beers were well-kept. I recommend drovers best, or the beer paddle boards if you cannot decide. the parking lot is separate, yet it presented no real inconvenience.
I ordered soup for lunch, costing nearly £10. It came with dry white bread and margarine. i asked for butter and they said they had none. This was surprising as it is a hotel that serves breakfast.

i had dinner in the dining room. the beer selection was excellent. i tried some local ales. the breakfast was particularly good. lots of choice for both the full english breakfast and the pancakes and fruit.
