some issues noted

small bathweak water pressure
the bathroom setup felt strange the bath was small and the toilet was crammed into one corner. it could use updating like swapping the bath for a walk-in shower. there was no hot water on my first night only lukewarm water so i couldn't enjoy a shower. the shower had weak pressure and i couldn't adjust the spray.

Acceptable stay with some drawbacks

presented restaurantclean restaurantquality foodbroken liftsmall bathroominconvenient bathroom
The hotel restaurant impressed me. It was beautifully presented and very clean. The food seemed to be of great standard and quality. The prices charged felt sensible for the level of service.
The hotel lift was not working . This was disappointing as I selected this hotel specifically because it had a lift. The bathroom was also disgustingly small and difficult to use. I think it should turn into a wet room.

mixed experience

tidy roomlack of hot waterpoor shower
the room was clean and tidy upon arrival.
the lack of hot water made showering unpleasant, and the reception's response felt dismissive, blaming the bank holiday weekend instead of addressing the issue. the poor shower design also contributed to the bad experience.
