Hillthwaite has 34 bedrooms, including cozy, classic, occasion, and signature options. Classic bedrooms offer a king-size bed, crisp linens, Damana toiletries, and an ensuite with a shower or shower-over-bath. Classic Plus bedrooms feature views of Lake Windermere or the Lakeland fells. Signature bedrooms offer views of Lake Windermere, Nespresso machines, and balconies in Room 15, or bay windows and complimentary champagne in Room 16. Family Rooms are in Tendal Howe, with a double bed, lounge area with a sofa bed, and a second bedroom with a single bed. Single rooms are available with ensuite bathrooms. Some rooms are located in the annex and are accessed via a covered walkway.

The restaurant blends modern dishes with classic dishes. The breakfast offers a cold choice and a range of cooked dishes, including eggs Benedict and a full Cumbrian breakfast. Dinner Inclusive Breaks include a two-course dinner. The Poets bar offers beverages and is near the stone flagged terrace.
