a generally acceptable hotel experience

great location tasty breakfast adequate room old bathroom limited drinks restricted view
The location was definitely great. It was close to many attractions. the breakfast was very tasty, with a good selection of hot and cold items. the room was also clean and of adequate size, equipped with all necessary amenities.
The bathroom seemed quite old, needing some updates. The board behind the sink was even falling off. i wasn't able to get a latte or cappuccino. These drinks were not on offer. the view from my room was restricted, mostly due to close trees.

Solid Bungalow Stay

balcony room parking space good choice fine views
My bungalow room included its own balcony and parking space. The hotel made checking in easy with friendly staff at the main building. Breakfast offered a good choice. The gardens provided fine views and were relaxing. The hotel sits a short walk from town offering plenty to see.
I found the bar closed early each night. Its 9:30 pm closing time limited evening relaxation. More extended hours might be beneficial.
Service

The staff provided helpful tips and assistance from arrival until departure. Check-in was efficient, and the personnel were always available to answer questions. Their friendly attitude enhanced my stay greatly.
Rooms

Comfortable Stay with Great Breakfast

convenient parking flat screen tv well-kept garden
I enjoyed my nights here. Room 3 offered convenient parking right outside the door. The room included free Wi-Fi and a flat screen TV. A patio overlooked a well-kept garden, this added to the experience.
I noticed that the hotel photos online can be misleading though it didn't greatly impact my stay. Most rooms are in chalets, a motel-like structure, not the main house, and this wasn't clear beforehand. Guests can easily hear sounds from adjacent rooms, so the walls may be very thin
Facilities
9/10
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel. It also has daily room cleaning services. A large garden is available to relax. This adds to the tranquility of the environment, and a tea and coffee maker were included in the room.

dirty windows towel absence
The location provided convenient access to nearby attractions. Parking was available.
I found significant issues with the room's cleanliness. The windows were visibly dirty, and there was mold present on the patio door. The duvet cover was disproportionately large for the duvet. Towels were not changed during the entire three-night stay. This oversight is unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber.
