the staff were very helpful and friendly! i especially appreciated the ample parking available for the hotel size. the gardens surrounding the guesthouse were quite lovely too. breakfast was served each morning, a very classy experience with table service and a good menu choice. nothing was too much trouble. the hotel had an array of choice in terms of beverages and beautiful home made shortbread biscuits in the rooms.
my room's shower cubicle was small. i could barely move around in it. the food was over seasoned with salt! the room wasn't cleaned until 3.30pm one day. this was a bit inconvenient.
