Rooms at Glen Rothay
Glen Rothay offers double, twin, and family rooms. All rooms include en-suite facilities, toiletries, a digital TV, and tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms provide a Cumbrian breakfast. The Rothay room in the main building and the Woodland room in the cottage are for families, with space. Dogs can stay in Bluebell, Otter, Woodland & Heron rooms for £12 per night. The Kentmere room features a bay window, countryside views, a super-king sleigh bed, a single bed and a brand new bathroom with a deep bath and separate shower. The Rothay room features a four-poster bed and two extra beds. The Woodland room features a super-king bed and two single beds. The Windermere room includes a Victorian style bedstead, doors to woodland, and a single bed in a connecting area.
Dining at Badger Bar
The Badger Bar offers a menu with pub food, including fish and chips, curries, burgers, and Cumberland sausage. The Inn is a free house with real ales. Lunch includes soup, sandwiches, and chips. Hearty meals such as Cumberland sausage & mash, fish & chips, homemade pies, and burgers are also available. Evening meals include pub classics, and homemade pies. The Glen Rothay serves a full English breakfast with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Walk-in diners are welcome. The Inn is open every day for food and drinks.
