a magical experience!
welcome ceremony palace view peaceful sitting
i stayed for five nights and enjoyed many things. the welcome ceremony was lovely. i was like royalty with rose petals and traditional dancers. our palace double room lake view featured views of both the city palace and taj fateh sagar. the sitting area was a favourite spot, it was so peaceful!!!

excellent service superb suggestion fantastic decor
The folk dance in the evening was a highlight! tanuja singh at the restaurant provided excellent service and superb suggestions, i felt so well looked after. the decor was amazing, especially the fantastic evening entertainment. It added a special touch.
The gym equipment seemed a little dated. A minor point.

Mixed experience at this historic hotel
dated rooms pigeon droppings
The arrival by boat WAS indeed a highlight.
The hotel rooms are quite dated. I noticed pigeons everywhere. Their droppings detracted from the otherwise charming atmosphere.
