The hotel's architecture impressed me greatly it dates back to the 1600s. Staff members extended a warm welcome and gave me the freedom to explore the hotel. The food offered many choices, specifically accommodating my gluten-free needs. The gym and sauna were well maintained and easy to access.

The coffee could have been better tasting I feel, but it was a minor thing.

The outdoor seating and loungers were perfect for enjoying the weather and spending time outside. The chess board outside added to the entertainment and visual appeal of the grounds for the guests.

I enjoyed my second visit a lot. It maintains a high standard. the west wing's beautiful room gave a contrast from the main building. the staff demonstrated dedication and they aimed to please. the pool was inviting, though it could get crowded on weekends.

The garden close to the spa looked neglected. It could have been fine with a little work.

my room was sizable, equipped with a super comfy bed, and met all my needs. quiet surroundings ensured a sound sleep. however! the room lacked accessible power outlets, a plug was inconveniently located across the room.
