Excellent stay with great amenities
corner room quality bedding
i had a corner room in the main building, it overlooked the train station. the bedding was good quality. breakfast featured a nice selection of cereals, jams, and bread. the hot breakfast was cooked to order and was quite enjoyable.
my room had lights that shone directly through the windows, even with the curtains closed, there was constant light in the room.

the hotel is next to the iconic railway station. lots of attractions are nearby. the hotel is within walking distance of the train station, which makes it very convenient for travelling. the village is charming and easily accessible

my suite had both a bath and shower. the bed, pillows, and bed linen were high quality. the room included a television with satellite channels. each room is equiped with complimentary toiletries, and tea and coffee making facilities are readily available

mixed experience needs attention
dirty carpet small television
the room i was allocated was not to standard. the carpet was not clean, there was hairs and other debris throughout the room. the website mentioned dog friendly policy. i suspect the dirt to be dog hair. the television was also too small.

weak pressure automatic charge
The room seemed a bit worn. The shower pressure was weak. It barely managed to rinse the shampoo from my hair. the restaurant added a service charge to the bill automatically. I prefer to decide the tip amount myself based on service quality. The manager did eventually sort it out.
