“In my view, this hotel is ideal for families planning seaside holidays and golf weekends, and I think its location across from the Moray Golf Club positions it well for golf enthusiasts. The Black Rock Grill provides a novel self-cooking steak experience, and I noticed the dedication to Scottish whisky, with a selection of over 70 varieties. While some areas could use updates, I believe its blend of Victorian character and modern conveniences has clear appeal.”

the staff was helpful and friendly! the breakfast buffet included many choices, and the food was good. dinner had nice vegan options. i was shown to a table that had a great view in the dining room. i liked having a single room. i had a good stay overall!

I found the check in AND out were very easy. The dinner i had was very good. Breakfast seemed adequate TOO.
the parking area AVAILABLE was not nearly big enough for the size of the hotel. It looked like only seven spaces.

A Pleasant Stay

The reception staff were indeed friendly and helpful. Their assistance made check-in seamless. I found the food to be lovely, particularly the evening meal. The prompt and warm service was excellent, and I especially appreciated the good value, it seemed quite fair. I received a packed lunch for the next day, also a nice touch.
My allocated room seemed poor, and I was a bit disappointed by it. There were some stains on the wall, and I noticed mould on the carpet, which I did not appreciate! Wallpaper was peeling from the ceiling, and paint was flaking around the bath.

This hotel benefits from an excellent location on the sea front, providing easy access to the beach. I noticed a golf course opposite the premises. Proximity to local shops and restaurants made it easy to explore the area.

The breakfast included many choices, especially the cooked items. The room felt spacious for three people. I found a good selection of whisky at the bar, a plus for whisky lovers. The staff was very helpful with local information.
I found getting my suitcase to the second floor difficult. The hotel has no lift. This should be addressed for those with mobility issues or heavy luggage.

I found the staff helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. the location is amazing, with easy access to the beach. my room was clean and i particularly appreciated the soft, fluffy towels provided. Misplaced punctuation. the bed was also very comfortable. i am grateful.
I noticed the available parking was a bit limited. We loved the pool but the view was amazing!
