The king size bed provided really good comfort. The breakfast included a very good selection of fresh fruit salad. I appreciated the host allowing an early check in. He also gave me a lift to a pick up point..

The building needs some tlc as the furniture was showing its age.

The host offered tea and cake upon arrival after a long drive. He carried my case up to my second floor room. He also brought it down again in the morning, ensuring a smooth departure.

the location to the city center is awesome. the room included tea, coffee, and many biscuits. i grabbed full english breakfast, and it tasted fantastic. the garden room provided a great atmosphere to eat.

adequate stay, some areas need attention

the breakfast was decent (i especially liked the freshly cooked eggs). the location is also quite convenient to get around.

The room felt outdated. the shower was old and didn't provide hot water consistently. It was lukewarm at best on several occasions.

i received a warm welcome upon arrival with coffee and cake. michael showed me to my room, super clean and well-equipped. breakfast included a full english option (the bacon was crispy!) and a variety of cereals and fruit.

the shower cubicle in my room was a little tight.

dated decor needs attention

dated decor carpet stains

i must say i was a bit disappointed. the room decor felt quite dated, and the furniture showed noticeable wear (chipped paint everywhere!). the cleanliness was not up to par. i noticed stains on the carpet and skirting. also, the bathroom blind was missing slats, compromising privacy because the window faced the road.
