“Hotel Skaftafell places you squarely in Iceland's glacier country; you're not just visiting, you're practically on the ice. The proximity to Skaftafell National Park is a real boon for hikers and those chasing the Northern Lights. While the hotel is simple, its location-and the views-make it a worthwhile base for exploring this dramatic landscape, in my opinion.”
