skogafoss stay, a walker's delight!

I found the staff very helpful when i got stuck in the snow entering the parking lot (i came from a different road!). the coffee area in the hall had hot chocolate and teas. This was lovely after seeing the northern lights just outside. minimal light pollution helped. the parking was very close once i knew where to go and very handy in high winds.
the room felt a little small, with not enough sockets for charging devices.

breakfast had a good selection, more than i expected (especially the bacon, eggs, and beans!). the bistro staff were very nice, and the food at dinner was also great.

the room was clean and quite spacious, as was the bathroom. the beds and pillows were comfortable. i had easy access to hot water, and there was free coffee and tea on the hall.

The location is the best. It is a short walk from the waterfall (about five minutes!). the location near the waterfall meant i could walk there before most other tourists arrived. i could even see the falls from the restaurant.

the hotel's proximity to skógafoss is amazing. i appreciated the convenience of walking to the waterfall. the breakfast offered a fresh and varied selection. the ample parking was also very convenient.
the room was slightly small. but the stay overall was wonderful.

I stayed in a room. It had a great view of the nearby waterfall. The staff were very helpful. They even provided information about local hiking trails. Breakfast offered homemade bread. It was quite a treat.
the hotel was quite busy, i noticed it got loud sometimes.

The breakfast was good. It had a decent selection.
The room was quite small. It felt cramped with luggage. the coffee machine in the hallway was very loud. It disturbed sleep throughout the night. also, the code entry for the room door beeped loudly each time a button was pressed. There was no way to secure the door from the inside.
