Onsite Restaurant Loimu
Aurora Village Ivalo's Restaurant Loimu serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is always included. From September 1st to April 10th, a 3-course dinner is included in Northern Lights Season, with meals that change daily and repeat weekly. Lunch is available for an extra fee during the northern lights season. Dinner is served from 5PM until 9PM. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Example dishes include: Sautéed Local Perch with Browned Butter & Cauliflower Purée, Cauliflower Piccata & Creamy White Bean Purée, and Lemon Cake with Raspberries & Almond.
Activities and Facilities
Aurora Village offers Wood heated Barrel Sauna floating on a river. The property includes a Panorama Sauna and Jacuzzi. Cross-country skis, ice-skates, toboggans and snowshoes are available for complimentary use. Activities include snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, ice karting, horse sled riding, and meeting with the reindeer. One of the activities organized by Aurora Village is the fatbiking trips in nature. Other activities includes: aurora tours and husky sledding.
Location and Transportation
Aurora Village Ivalo is 15 km from Ivalo and 4 km from Wild Spirit Park. Ivalo Airport is a 15-minute drive. Airport transfer can be pre-booked via email. The nearest train station is 300 km south in Rovaniemi, with bus and car rental options to Ivalo.
