Welcome to Hotel Des Arts

Hotel Des Arts Amsterdam is in Red Light District, one of the oldest parts of town. This family-owned hotel features a style and charm all of its own. It consists of two buildings joined together. The hotel has 22 rooms, all renovated in 2023.

Rooms

Accommodations range from single rooms to family rooms. Rooms accommodate from one to five people. Large rooms are available for families of four to five. Deluxe double suites offer Amstel River views. All rooms include a television, safe, fan, hair dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, and tea facilities. Rooms in the rear of the hotel are peaceful and spacious. Some rooms have work desks. Some rooms are in the attic, on the fourth floor and accessible by stairs.

Onsite Restaurant & Bar

Buffet breakfast with hot food is available each morning. The hotel features a coffee shop/cafe and a bar. Guests can enjoy snacks, various coffees, teas, and other drinks. The Cafe des Arts features architectural details dating to 1733. Guests can view the Amstel while enjoying a beer, wine, or loose leaf tea. High-speed internet access is available.

Location and Transportation

Hotel Des Arts Amsterdam is on the Rokin across from the Amstel River. The Anne Frank House and Rijksmuseum are located near the hotel. Museumplein, which includes the Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, and Stedelijk museums, and Spiegelstraat are within walking distance. The Rembrandt Square features a wide range of bars and restaurants. Canal cruises depart 200 meters from Hotel Des Arts. Tram lines from Amsterdam Central Station (4, 14, 24) stop within 100 meters. Metro number 52 goes in the direction of Zuid to station Rokin, which is also within 100 meters. Public parking is available at the Rokin or Stopera parking garages. The RAI convention center, Amsterdam Arena, and Ziggo Dome are 10 minutes away via metro.
