Fantastic Stay Near the Airport!

This hotel was really good! The lagoon tour that the front desk arranged showed many birds and wildlife. Captain Rohan was super knowledgeable. I really appreciated the polite tuktuk driver Asim (he even gave me a mini tour!). Breakfast had an excellent buffet too!
The road to the hotel is narrow. Cars must back up if another is trying to leave.

The hotel is in a convenient location near the airport. It made travel easy. The lagoon view is a plus. I felt the surroundings were relaxing.

My room overlooked the lagoon, and it felt very spacious. The air conditioning worked quietly and efficiently. I found the room clean and well kept (a super important detail for me!).

The hotel offers tours, and I thought the tour I went on was great. It was so relaxing, and I got to see beautiful birds (I had never seen them before!). The pool area looked inviting too.

The breakfast buffet had a good selection. Both western and Sri Lankan options were available. I tried some local dishes, and they tasted delicious (especially the curries!).

splendid stay close to the airport

i enjoyed the express check-in. the formalities was convenient since i settled in the lagoon view room i got as an upgrade. the staff are friendly and provided superb service.
the pillows in my room had a strong oil smell. the housekeeping lady said they only clean the balcony with bird droppings if they have time. its important for them to be more proactive about cleanliness.

the front office staff was kind. they seemed eager to assist. staff arranged airport transport promptly. staff was very helpful when i asked for a taxi to the airport.

the hotel has a pool. the pool was a fantastic addition. i was able to secure a spa appointment at the last minute. the hotel offer a complimentary upgrade to a suite room.

the breakfast buffet is worth the money. i found the food really good. the restaurant manager looked after me well. there are plenty of western options. there are also Sri Lanka options available.
