Charming stay central!

central locationconsiderate staffnoise disturbance
the hotel has a central location, that helped. my room was a great size, its cleanliness was great. staff made sure coffee and tea supplies were topped up, that was considerate.
Noise was a challenge. Outside the hotel, revving cars and bar noise were present. banging doors at 2:30 am disturbed sleep. a quieter environment is desired.
Rooms
9/10
the room was good size with a very comfortable bed. it featured basic facilities, including a kettle with tea and coffee. a complimentary bottle of water was available.
Facilities
8/10
the hotel is above a popular bar, near the castle. access to rooms on the first and second floor is by stairs only. the location is central, situated on the main square.
Service
8/10
the staff was helpful, but i was reminded of late night noise. no breakfast was included, i was informed. parking isn't available onsite, and there is no drop-off area for bags.

Solid Hotel Centrally Located

comfortable bedcentral locationpub noise
My room included a comfortable bed and tea and coffee making facilities. The location was central, close to the castle and square. I found this convenient, though the stairs to the rooms might pose a challenge for some. The hotel's access to the town was very easy.
The noise from the pub below was noticeable. It continued until late and disrupted my sleep. It could benefit from better soundproofing. Also parking was hard to find
Dining
8/10
I stopped for a meal, and the portions were of a good size. I tried the linguine in a creamy sauce. It had chicken and chorizo, though the service was a little slow it was made fresh
Service

The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times! The barmaid was especially cute when she gave me the key to my room upon arrival.
