charming hotel experience!
temple spa goodies shared hot tub delicious food
The hotel room was quaint and included everything needed, such as temple spa goodies. This was a bonus! arriving later than expected, we wanted to go in the shared hot tub. the views were beautiful, and the hot tub was sunken into decking. dinner was superb and the food was delicious!

The room was well-set up and included a comfortable bed. Good linen ensured a restful sleep. there were nice toiletries available in the bathroom. Large towels were provided for our convenience. a view of the green hills behind the hotel could be seen from the bedroom window.

Breakfast was a particular treat! the marmalade was made in house and quite chunky. scrambled eggs came with a generous portion of smoked salmon. The full english was also high quality. the menu offers lots of choice and quality produce.

the staff are excellent and. they rescued us from a very stressful week! the servers are all very young and gave the best service i have experienced in a long time. they were so smiley!

excellent FOOD and service
comfortable bed good linen pleasant walk rural isolation
i have enjoyed meals here before, but this was my first stay. i like the village and rural isolation. i walked both days and found a pleasant two hour walk from the hotel. The room had a comfortable bed, good linen, and a view TO green hills.
i thought that the room was very basic for the price. it was small and COLD. there was no chair or light on the bathroom mirror.

breakfast included homemade marmalade, tasty scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, and high quality full English options, so everyone found something to enjoy from the varied menu. the bar had a number of choices for beers on tap.

the location is in a welsh village surrounded by farms and hills and is perfect for walking with many routes nearby. The hotel provides maps wanting to explore local trails.

staff offer kind service and are attentive. the staff ensured we had an enjoyable stay, attending to our needs without being intrusive. one staff member made my bill and she was lovely.
