The breakfast WAS Extremely POOR. I read the website stated local produce, but that was not the case. The sausage seemed like frozen junk.

Charming Stay by the River

friendly staffgarden viewfull breakfastrust marks
The staff was friendly, and my room had nice views overlooking the garden. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very enjoyable. The English breakfast included quality ingredients. I had dinner at the pub and it was amazing, with a pie in short crust pastry with mash and veg.
I found rust marks on my pillowcases and a newspaper under the bed.

The staff had knowledge of the surrounding areas. The food served was lovely. It was hot every time. I would definitely recommend this location.
The room was immediately above the lounge, so it was noisy. An American Country & Western Band played for several hours at full volume! I thought it was uncomfortable. I would have liked advance warning of this.
