the room was ready when i arrived, this was a bonus.
this time, my superior room with park view was very dark! heavy curtains obscured the view. i had expected a bathtub, but there was no tub.

the staff was helpful and friendly upon my arrival i found the lifts to be quiet and quick it was a relief the room felt cosy and it came with good facilities. i was surprised by the two books i found in the bedside cabinet. i had a wide variety of options for breakfast.

helpful staff excellent view delicious food
i found the staff good and helpful. they quickly resolved a minor room mix-up and upgraded us to a very good room with excellent views.. we also enjoyed cocktails in the bar prior to attending the theatre. the cooked breakfast in the restaurant the following morning offered delicious food and good service.

the hotel is ideally located for easy access to the town, a great benefit during periods of heavy rain. the concierge team provided excellent suggestions, including guided college walks and private punting tours on the river. parking in the local car park was easy.
